Both RCB and KKR received one point each. With no result due to rain at Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium, defending champions Kolkata were eliminated from the playoffs race.
The match was called off at 10:24 PM as there was no respite from rain.
In the latest IPL 2025 standings, RCB are on top with 17 points from 12 matches, while KKR remain at sixth with 12 points from 13 outings. RCB have now inched closer to a playoff spot with two league games remaining.
IPL 2025 was to resume on Saturday after a 10-day break due to India-Pakistan tensions and Operation Sindoor.
Hosts RCB were coming off a four-match winning streak while the visitors had managed to stitch two victories in three matches before the league came to a grinding halt.
