An impressive knock from Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill helped the side to secure a 10-wicket victory for Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2025 game against Delhi Capitals on May 18 at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi.

Sudharsan went on to slam a century in the game, while Gill was close to scoring a century in their dominating victory on Sunday’s clash. With their win, Gujarat Titans secured a spot in the IPL 2025 playoffs.

Batting first, KL Rahul and Faf du Plessis opened the innings while Mohammed Siraj opened the Bowling attack.

After du Plessis was dismissed for 5 runs by Arshad Khan, Abhishek Porel and KL Rahul went on to score 45 runs in the powerplay.

With Sai Kishore and Prasidh bagging the wickets of Abhishek Porel and Axar Patel for 30 and 25 runs respectively, KL Rahul went on to slam his fifty in the meantime.

KL Rahul went on to score 112* runs, which included 14 fours and 4 sixes in their innings, with Tristan Stubbs remaining unbeaten with 21 runs to post 199 runs in the score card.

In the pursuit of chasing 199 runs, Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill opened the innings while Axar Patel opened the bowling attack.

Despite making only decent knock in the powerplay of 59 runs, they went on take the side towards Victory without losing the wicket.

Sai Sudharsan went on to score 108* runs of 61 deliveries which included 12 fours and 4 sixes while Gill went on to score unbeaten 93 off 53 deliveries which included 3 sixes and 7 fours.

By the end of 19th over Sudharsan went on to finish the chase with a six at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi.
