IPL 2025 is moving towards its last stage and in the meantime many big updates have emerged regarding the schedule. First of all talk about the RCB Vs SRH match to be held on May 23, now this match will be played at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow instead of Bengaluru. The BCCI has taken this decision due to continuous heavy rains in Bengaluru. Actually, for the last few days, there has been a situation of heavy rains, electricity and waterlogging in Bengaluru. On Saturday, the KKR and RCB match was also rained.

On the other hand, the situation has now become clear about the playoffs and the final venue. The first final was to be held in Kolkata but now it will be shifted and played in Ahmedabad. The reason is the risk of rain in Bengal. The final will be held on June 3 at the Narendra Modi Stadium. The first two matches of the playoffs i.e. Qualifier-1 and Eliminator will now be in the new stadium Mullanpur in Punjab. Qualifier-1 will be played on 29 May and eliminator on 30 May. Qualifier-2 will take place in Ahmedabad on 1 June.

In view of the weather, BCCI and IPL Governing Council have set these changes. In May-June, there is a monsoon entry in many parts of the country, so Punjab and Gujarat have been considered a safe option.
