Delhi Capitals, meanwhile, is hanging by a thread. For DC to sneak through, it needs a double favour: first, it must beat MI; second, it must hope that PBKS also gets the better of Mumbai.
On Tuesday, the Indian met department issued a yellow alert (the second of four levels) for Mumbai for the next four days. A washout tonight would complicate things further — DC would then be forced to win its last match against PBKS with a big margin and rely on Punjab to beat Mumbai.
