Delhi: The Indian Premier League (IPL), after losing 10 out of 13 matches in 2025, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have come under question. The team is preparing for a new beginning once again after the IPL 2025 is over. But, this time the situation is so bad that the need to change everything is felt.

Chopra said, “I have a long list. I will release R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Rachin Ravindra, Devon Conway, Vijay Shankar, Deepak Hooda and Rahul Tripathi.”

Whether or not Dhoni stays in the team, but it is clear that CSK needs a big change. The condition of the team was bad since the beginning of this season and then every match became worse.

Ravindra Jadeja, who is the senior player of the team, was sent to number 4. However, his performance was disappointing. Chopra also talked about this.

He said, “Jadeja probably should be traded. I will feed Devold Bravis at No. 4. The opening combination right now – Devon Conway and Ayush Mahatre, and Urville Patel at No. 3, is just a stopgap. It doesn’t look like a long term combination.”

Chopra also said that if you are releasing Rachin Ravindra and Devon Conway, then you have to find a strong opener, which not only stands but also scored fast runs.

“Why do Ruturaj Gaikwad again open with a batsman who does not play fast? I will put Urvil Patel at number three and would like to take another foreign batsman with him. Because you also need Noor Ahmad and Pathirana, then you have to keep two batter. Either with a good finish batsman or a top order batsman.”
