I would have a great time there: Sai Sudharsan exudes confidence before England tour

Gujarat Titans (GT) opener Sai Sudharsan, who has looked in brilliant touch with his bat in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, has oozed confidence for the upcoming England tour.

Sudharsan's name has featured in India A side that will play three First-Class matches against England Lions between May 30 to June 15. However, he will join the squad before the second game, which will kick off from June 6 in Northampton. The left-handed batter will look to carry his IPL form to England as he is highly likely to be a part of Team India, which will contest against Ben Stokes and his men from June 20.

Sudharsan, whose focus is to guideGTto their second title win, held a chat with the media after GT's loss against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and said that he will have a great time in the crucial tour coming ahead. 'Mentally, we will have to be switched on for the IPL first. Once that story is over, then we can probably think about the India 'A' story. But definitely happy for that opportunity, and I think I would have a great time there,' said Sudharsan.

GT will look to beat CSK on May 25

Gujarat Titans will strive to get the better of (CSK) to end their league round at the top two of the points table.

Following the 33-run loss against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Narendra Modi Stadium on May 22, GT will have to collect themselves to taste success against MS Dhoni's side on Sunday.

Sudharsan has also emphasised on finishing at the top two of the tally. 'Right now, the most important thing is to finish in the top two so that we get an extra opportunity, if at all we need. The focus is more on that,' remarked Sudharsan as per India Today. In this T20 extravaganza, the left-handed opener has notched up 638 runs in 13 matches at a strike rate of 155.99 and is the leading run-getter in the competition.
