Abhimanyu Easwan Father Shocking Claim on Team India Debut: Some players are unable to make a place in the Indian team despite continuously performing well in domestic cricket and Abhimanyu Ishwar is one of them. He has been included in the Indian Test team several times, but his international debut has not been made yet. Even after being included in the team recently in the Australia series, Ishwaran did not get a chance to debut.
Now once again Abhimanyu Easwan has got a chance in the Indian team for the five -match Test series against England. Now his father has made a shocking claim, in which he explained why Ishwaran has not yet got a chance to make international debut.
Abhimanyu Easwan has been selected as the third opener in the Indian team for the upcoming Test series against England. However, in the presence of Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul, they are less likely to find a place in the playing XI again.
According to a Times of India report, Abhimanyu Ishwaran’s father Ranganathan Easwan believes that his son’s entry into the Indian team has delayed due to lack of IPL contract. He bluntly said, “If Abhimanyu had got a chance to show his talent in the IPL, he would have made his debut in Team India long ago.”
Ranganathan Ishwaran further stated that “the tournament (IPL) creates a huge difference due to more visibility. Abhimanyu is not a showy player and does not run on the field after scoring a century. These things go against him.”
Ranganathan Ishwaran praised the brilliant performance of Abhimanyu Easwan. He said that Abhimanyu has so far scored 7,674 runs in 101 first class matches at an average of 48.87, which shows his consistency. Ranganathan believes that the experience of playing in different circumstances like New Zealand, Australia, England and West Indies makes them special from the rest of the players.
Ranganathan Ishwaran also revealed that Abhimanyu Easwan is training hard with the red Dux ball used in England. He said, “Abhimanyu wakes up at 5.30 am and faces fast bowlers for hours. We have arranged two dozen dux balls to ensure that there is no shortage in the preparation. He is batting on a red -clay green pitch as the boom helps him to prepare on a large scale for English conditions.”
29 -year -old Abhimanyu Ishwaran has scored 7674 runs in 101 first -class cricket matches at an average of 48.87. Which includes 27 centuries and 29 half -centuries. At the same time, he has scored 3857 runs in 89 List A matches at an average of 47.03. Which includes 9 centuries and 23 half -centuries. At the same time, Abhimanyu Ishwaran has scored 976 runs in 34 T20 cricket matches at an average of 37.53. Which includes 1 century and 5 half -centuries.
