Nair making strong case for India vs England test team selection
After being put to bat first, have been able to register a score 463/5 in 102 over, as of writing this.
Karun Nair's knock has been instrumental for India's innings. The innings comes at a crucial juncture for Nair's personal ambitions as he has been named in India's squad for the upcoming England test series. With Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli both announcing retirement from the test format, there are couple of spots which have opened up in the Indian team, which Nair will look to exploit fully.
His heroics in England have also reminded fans of his brilliance showcased many years ago when he scored an amazing triple-hundred against the same opponents in 2016.
With Nair still batting confidently, it will be interesting to see whether he can breach the 300-run mark again in this match as well.
