Royal Challengers Bengaluru captain Rajat Patidar spoke to media ahead of the IPL 2025 final against the Punjab Kings on June 3. He is aiming to lead RCB to their maiden IPL trophy. Patidar revealed that a call on Tim David’s availability would be take by the medical panel later in the day. “Doctors will let us know this evening,” he said.

The conversation then shifted towards Virat Kohli, who has been associated with RCB for 18 years. “We will try to win the IPL trophy for Virat Kohli. He has done a lot for India and RCB,” Rajat Patidar said.

The final against PBKS will provide RCB their fourth opportunity to end the title drought, having fallen short in 2009, 2011 and 2016. In Qualifier 1, Bengaluru dismissed Punjab for 101 runs in the 15th over and completed the chase in 10 overs.

Virat has crossed the 600-run mark in the 18th season and his eight fifties have come in a winning cause.
