Arshdeep Singh conceded just three runs and picked up three wickets in the last over to restrict Royal Challengers Bengaluru to 190/9. Punjab Kings bowlers kept taking wickets from the start and didn’t allow the rival batters to break free at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

Virat Kohli was the highest run-getter, but he batted slowly. The right-handed batter managed 43 runs off 35 balls with the help of three fours.

Jitesh Sharma was the only batter who scored runs at a strike rate of above 200. He accumulated 24 runs off 10 deliveries, including 2 fours and 2 sixes.

Mayank Agarwal (24 off 18), Liam Livingstone (25 off 15), Rajat Patidar (26 off 16) and Romario Shepherd (17 off 9) got starts, but they couldn’t carry on.

Apart from Arshdeep, Kyle Jamieson also dismissed three batters. Azmatullah Omarzai, Vijaykumar Vyshak and Yuzvendra Chahal added one scalp each to their bowling figures.
