According to TOI, the felicitation ceremony for IPL 2025 champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) organised by the state government of Karnataka has turned tragic, with stampede killing seven people, and leaving several others injured.

The event at Vidhana Soudha, attracted big crowd. The excitement turned into chaos before the start of the ceremony as a stampede broke out, with fans trying to enter the stadium to see RCB players.

Police had to use mild force to control the situation. The injured were rushed for medical support.
