Delhi: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) registered a stunning victory in IPL 2025, but the Vijay Yatra, which has been released in the open bus of the team, has now been canceled. This decision has been taken in Bengaluru due to heavy traffic and congestion.
The RCB had earlier announced that the team would take out the victory on the streets of Bengaluru after a 6 -run win on Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Ahmedabad on Tuesday night. The celebrations were going to reach M. Chinnaswamy Stadium at 3:30 pm on June 4 at 3:30 pm.
Now the team will be directly introduced to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in Vidhana Sauha and then the players will reach the Chinnaswamy Stadium directly. The honor ceremony of the players will be organized here from 5 pm to 6 pm.
To attend this ceremony, people must have a valid ticket or pass. Entry will not be given to the viewers without passing.
Parking facility around the stadium is limited, so people have been advised to use metro and public transport.
Apart from this, people from the Central Bangalore (CBD) area have been advised to keep distance from 3 pm to 8 pm so that traffic and crowd can be avoided.
Tuesday was a historic day for RCB. The team won the IPL Trophy for the first time after facing defeat in the final three times. At the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Krunal Pandya took two wickets for just 17 runs in 4 overs and played an important role in the team’s victory.
This victory was very special for Virat Kohli associated with RCB since 2008. He got a chance to pick up the IPL trophy for the first time. Kohli scored 657 runs in 15 matches this season and he was the third highest run batsman of the tournament.
