The Indian Test team has officially entered a new era with Shubman Gill as captain and Gautam Gambhir as head coach. Currently in England for a five-match Test series, Team India has begun preparations in full swing.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a video of the squad’s first training session, offering fans a glimpse of the team getting into rhythm ahead of the high-stakes battle against England.

Team India has begun a focused 10-day training camp, where players are putting in the hard yards to get match-ready.

Head coach Gautam Gambhir was seen closely interacting with the support staff and senior all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who is the most experienced player in the current squad.

With a relatively young side under new captain Shubman Gill, Jadeja is expected to play a key on-field leadership role.
