On Monday, June 9, Indian left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh shared a playful video on social media, where he teasingly gave teammate Mohammed Siraj a new nickname. The Indian squad is in England for the upcoming five-match Test series, which begins on June 20 at Headingley in Leeds.
Before the opening Test, India are scheduled to play a warm-up fixture at Kent County Cricket Ground in Beckenham from June 13 to 16.

This will be the team’s first major assignment without key players Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, who both retired from the format in May. Shubman Gill has been appointed as the new Test captain, with wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant as his deputy.
