RCB: Royal Challengers Bangalore is one of the most liked teams of the Indian Premier League. He recently won the IPL 2025 and won the first trophy. However, the celebration of this historic victory was quite painful. During the team’s Victory Parade, 11 people lost their lives in a stampede. Since then, the management of RCB has to listen very well. Also, the police have taken action against the franchise. However, it is now reported that Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) owners are considering selling the franchise.
Let us tell you that Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) was first bought by business tycoon Vijay Mallya in 2008. But in 2015, Mallya, who was struggling with the economic crisis, sold the franchise to Diazio India through United Spirits Limited. However, now Diazio is also looking for buyers to sell RCB.
The Economic Times has reported in its reports that the British distillers, who owned the Diazio India, are considering the matter with their advisors. Also, they are looking at the evaluation of franchise about $ 2 billion.
The report clarified that currently only considered in this case and a final decision has not been taken. The company can also change its decision. Significantly, India’s Health Ministry is emphasizing on banning the promotion of tobacco and liquor brands in the IPL and preventing indirect promotion of other unhealthy goods by sports celebrities. The BCCI is also trying to support the matter. But RCB has promoted the Kingfisher brand in the name of Soda.
In 2015, when the proprietary rights of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) were transferred, the players had no significant impact on the players. In such a situation, there is no possibility of any major change. However, winning IPL 2025 and Virat Kohli’s presence has broken all records from the price of franchisees.
