The BCCI Women’s selection committee has named Radha Yadav as a replacement for Shuchi Upadhyay in the India Squad for the white ball series against England.

The Women in Blues are set to play a five-match T20I series and a three-match ODI series on India Women’s tour of England 2025.

Shuchi was ruled out of the tour after sustaining a left shin injury, which was diagnosed during the pre-tour camp at the BCCI Centre of Excellence (COE) in Bengaluru.

“The Women’s Selection Committee has named Radha Yadav as a replacement for Shuchi Upadhyay in Team India’s squads for the England tour,” the BCCI said.

“Shuchi was ruled out of the tour after sustaining a left shin injury, which was diagnosed during the pre-tour camp at the BCCI Centre of Excellence (COE) in Bengaluru,” it added.

Radha Yadav has played 7 ODIs for 8 wickets while picked 97 wickets in 84 T20Is in his international career. He also has 57 runs in 7 ODIs while 79 runs in 25 innings of T20I format.

The women’s tour begins with the opening T20I on June 28 at Nottingham with the second match slated on July 01 at Bristol. The third T20I will be played on July 04 while the fourth will be played on July 09 at Manchester and fifth match will be played on July 12 at Birmingham.

The ODI series will be played on July 16,19 and 22 at Southampton, Lord’s and Chester-le-Street respectively.
