Now Keshav Maharaj, the captaincy of South Africa, will be in the new World Test Championship cycle starting from Zimbabwe tour. Keshav was also part of the same team that defeated Australia at Lord’s under the captaincy of Temba Bavuma and made South Africa the first Test champion for the first time. South Africa became the third team in the world to do so.
But, in the beginning of this new cycle, captain Temba Bawuma will not be in the team. Cricket South Africa on Friday informed that there will now be captain Keshav Maharaj for the visit of Zimbabwe.
