“I always wanted to play for India. I believed in myself. I have been a part of all the formats because of my beliefs. People said that I won’t last long. They predicted a six-month stint for me. However, I am on the verge of completing 10 years in international cricket,” Jasprit Bumrah said.

The 31-year-old has been competing in the Indian Premier League for over a decade and no longer gives importance to outside opinions. He has left everything in the hands of God and intends to play for as long as possible. Bumrah focuses on contributing to Indian cricket and taking the team forward.

“I have been a part of the IPL for 12-13 years. People still say I cannot remain a part of the team. Let them think about what they want; I don’t give importance to it. I will play till God wants. I always give my best and leave the rest to God. Whatever God has given me, I try to take it forward. I want to take the Indian team to new heights.”
