Jasprit bumrah likely replacement for 2nd test: The second match of the five -match Test series being played between India and England will be played at Edgbaston, Birmingham from July 02, in which the sword is seen hanging after the play of Team India’s veteran fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah. In such a situation, the question is arising that in the second Test, which player will be given a chance instead of Bumrah?
Bumrah bowled 43.4 overs in the first Test played at Leeds’s headingley. In the first innings, Bumrah took 5 wickets. However, he could not get any wicket in the second innings. Media reports that came out after the first Test ended claimed that Bumrah would be seen in the third Test to be played at Direct Lord’s.
The question is arising that in the second Test to be played in Birmingham, which fast bowler will be made a part of Team India in place of Bumrah. So let us tell you that in some media reports, it has been told that in the second Test instead of Bumrah, left hand fast bowler Arshdeep Singh can be given a chance.
Arshdeep has not yet made a Test debut for India. He plays white ball cricket for Team India. Arshdeep has been made part of the squad for the tour of England. Now it will be interesting to see if Arshdeep Singh gets a chance in the second Test or not.
Let us tell you that apart from Arshdeep, Team India also has an alternative to Akash Deep. Akash has played 7 Tests for India. While bowling in 12 innings of these matches, Akash Deep took 15 wickets at an average of 35.2, in which his match was the best figure 3/83.
