SL vs BAN 1st ODI Playing 11: Charith Asalanka-led Sri Lanka will square off against Mehidy Hasan Miraz-led Bangladesh in the first ODI match of the three-match series on July 02 at R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo.

The hosts secured a 1-0 win in the test series of Bangladesh’s tour of Sri Lanka 2025 and will be aiming to replicate the success in the ODI series. Meanwhile, Bangladesh will be aiming for a win on Sri Lankan soil.

They will be looking for a fresh start under Mehidy Hasan Miraz’s captaincy. For the first, Mahmudullah and Mushfiqur Rahim won’t be part of the Playing 11 as they due retired from the format.

Sri Lanka won the toss and opted to Bat first.
