Karun Nair has returned to the Indian Test team after more than 7 years. But things have not yet been done according to the plan. Karun started well in the first innings of the Lord’s Test, but could not convert it into a big score and was dismissed for just 40 runs.

Karun Nair stood there for a while when the third umpire was checking the catch to see if the ball touched the ground or not. But it was clearly visible in the replay that the root fingers were under the ball. Joe Root broke Rahul Dravid’s record as soon as Karun Nair was caught.
