BCCI vice -president Rajiv Shukla has spoke openly on speculation and rumors to the retirement of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Talking to ANI in London, Rajiv Shukla said, “I want to make this thing clear for all once and everyone. We are all missing Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. The decision to retire was taken by Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli themselves.”

He further stressed, “It is the policy of the BCCI that we never tell a player when or from which format they should retire. It was his own decision completely. They took this decision independently.”
