Rcb player team change: Wicketkeeper batsman Jitesh Sharma (Jitesh Sharma), who won the first title to Royal Challengers Bangalore, has taken a big decision to change the team before the next season. The player, who came into the limelight with his aggressive batting in the IPL, has now made a new beginning to strengthen his claim in Team India’s playing XI.
Before the upcoming season of domestic cricket, Jitesh has left Vidarbha team and will now be seen with a new Ranji team. This decision has created a stir in the domestic cricket circuit.
According to the report of ESPN Cricinfo, Jitesh Sharma will now be seen playing for Baroda’s team in domestic cricket. It is being told that he has taken this decision after much thought. The current captain of Baroda is Krunal Pandya, who is also a part of RCB in the IPL and is considered a close friend of Jitesh. In such a situation, he did not face any problem in this transfer.
Jitesh Sharma, 31, did not get a chance to play a single match from Vidarbha in the Ranji Trophy 2024-25. He was in the team as the backup wicketkeeper of captain Akshay Wadkar, but could not be a part of regular playing XI.
Although he definitely got some opportunities under the captaincy of Karun Nair in white ball cricket, but he could not prove himself permanently there. Due to this, he has now decided to make a new beginning in Baroda.
Jitesh Sharma has been playing first class cricket since 2015, but he has been able to play only 18 matches in the last 10 seasons. It is clear that they have not been able to get long opportunities in so many years. He played the last first class match in the year 2024 and now he wants to confirm his place by performing better in Baroda’s team.
