Fast bowler Mohammad Shami also heaped praise on Jadeja, saying, “It’s very hard to find a player like Jadeja; we are extremely lucky to have him in our team.”

Team India’s batting coach Sitanshu Kotak echoed similar sentiments, stating, “I have always believed that Jadeja has the mental toughness to handle pressure. He delivers for the team exactly when it’s needed the most. Jadeja is a very valuable and crucial player for Team India.”

Ravindra Jadeja scored a brilliant unbeaten 61 in the second innings of the Lord’s Test. Despite his resistance, Team India lost the match by 22 runs. During the innings, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Siraj gave him support at the other end, but a sharp turning ball from Shoaib Bashir eventually wrapped up India’s innings and dashed their hopes of a win.
