Rishabh pant injury and playing xi: Rishabh Pant’s injury remains a topic of discussion before the fourth Test to be played between India and England. On the first day of the third Test played at Lord’s, London, Pant suffered a finger injury during the keeping, after which Dhruv Juril took the task of wicketkeeping. Now Ravi Shastri has given a big statement about Pant’s injury.
Former Indian head coach Ravi Shastri has clearly stated that if Pant is unable to do both wicketkeeping and batting, then he should not play in the Manchester Test. Apart from this, he said that if Pant does not do wicketkeeping, then he will have to do fielding which can prove to be even more fatal.
In a video of the ICC, Ravi Shastri said, “I think if he cannot do Keeping, he should not play as a specialist batsman as he will have to field. If he fielding, the matter may get worse. With the flocks, with the flocks, there is some protection. No dastans. Without the dastans, he will not have any good if it is not good.”
Shastri further said, “You have to see if it is broken. If it is a broken or factory, then you will rest and play fully fit in the oval. Now they will not get a vegetable. Now they will know that he is injured. When you choose the team for the next Test, he will have to keep keeping and batting.”
In the first match of the series, Rishabh Pant scored 134 and 118 runs. Then in the second Test, Pant scored 25 and 65 runs. After this, Pant scored 74 and 09 runs in both innings of the third Test.
