Former Indian head coach Ravi Shastri has clearly stated that if Pant is unable to do both wicketkeeping and batting, then he should not play in the Manchester Test. Rishabh Pant’s playing can increase more difficulty

In a video of the ICC, Ravi Shastri said, “I think if he cannot do Keeping, he should not play as a specialist batsman as he will have to field. If he fielding, the matter may get worse. With the flocks, with the flocks, there is some protection. No dastans. Without the dastans, he will not have any good if it is not good.”
