Now Jadeja is very close to making a special record. If they score 58 runs in the series, then in England, batting number-6 or below, they will only become the second batsman to score 1000 Test runs. Till now, this achievement is achieved only by the great West Indies cricketer Gary Sobers, who scored 1097 runs playing on this position in England.

In this series, Jadeja has so far scored 327 runs in three Tests at an average of 109. He has become the third Indian batsman after Sourav Ganguly and Rishabh Pant, who scored 50 or more runs in four consecutive innings in England.
