Delhi: The Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy has increased the possibility of the inclusion of Tamil Nadu’s right-hand wicketkeeper batsman Jagadisin in 2025 in 2025. Due to Pant’s injury, the team has to find his option. Pant was fractured in his right foot finger while batting at Old Trafford, Manchester on the first day of the fourth Test, due to which he has been out of this series.

Jagadisin can find a place

BCCI, National selector and team management have decided to include 29 -year -old Jagadisin in the team in place of Pant. They will join the team and play in the fifth and final Tests. The first selectors saw 27 -year -old wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan as an alternative, but later it was revealed that he was not available.

Trust on Jagadisin’s domestic performance

Jagadisin has been selected on the basis of his brilliant performance in domestic cricket, especially in the cricket of red ball. He has scored a total of 3373 runs in 52 first class matches, which is an average of 47.50, including 14 half -centuries and 10 centuries.

Excellent performance in Ranji Trophy

In the last Ranji session, Jagadisin scored 674 runs in eight matches, his average of 56.16. He scored two centuries and five half -centuries, the most runs for his kingdom. He was at number two among the wicketkeeper batsmen, where Akshay Wadkar of Vidarbha scored 722 runs in 10 matches.

Other options are also monitored

The selectors also had the option to choose KS India, who are playing for the Dalvich Cricket Club in England. For India, he has played a Test match in England before, but this time he was not included in the team.

Other wicketkeepers in the current team

Dhruv Jurael is already in the team and is currently taking wicketkeeping in the Old Trafford Test. Apart from this, KL Rahul is also an option, who has done wicketkeeping in international matches, including the World Cup and Champions Trophy.
