Agency accused of dues of Rs 5 crore
A sports management agency called ‘Square the One Private Limited’ has filed a petition against Nitish Reddy in the Delhi High Court. The agency claims that the dues of Rs 5 crore on Reddy remains. The agency and Reddy had a 4 -year agreement in 2021, which ended recently. At the end of the agreement, Reddy broke away from the agency and appointed a new manager.
The agency says that according to the agreement, Reddy had to make some payment, which he did not do. The petition has been filed under Section 11 (6) of the arbitration and reconciliation Act. The next hearing on this is to be held on Monday, ie 28 July.
Reddy’s reply: “I set the deals myself”
The agency alleges that it made advertisements and brand deals for Reddy, but Reddy did not pay any payment. Usually such disputes are resolved by mutual consent, but in this case Reddy has denied the payment and said that he had fixed all his deals himself. For this reason, the matter reached the court.
