The squad for the tournament is expected to be announced on August 19, according to a report by the Times of India. The report suggests that players like Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Shreyas Iyer will be ignored, as the team management seems determined to stick with the current T20I opening pair of Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma.
