Australia skipper Mitchell Marsh would have batted first as well had he won the toss, but he is confident of restricting the rivals.
“We wanted to bat first as the wicket looks really good. We were outplayed in the first match and it’s time to bounce back,” he said.
The first ODI between the two teams was a one-sided affair, with South Africa securing a 98-run win. The Proteas posted 296/8 and restricted the Aussies to 198.
