IPL 2026 Schedule: The 19th season for the Indian Premier League is set to be played between March 15 to May 31, 2026. The tournament will be played in a double round-robin format with a total of 84 matches to be played across the tournament.

All 10 teams will play each other twice in the league stage, followed by the playoffs. The IPL 2026 will return to the home and away format, with each team playing their home games at home venues.

Ahead of the season, the teams will be aiming to reschuffle their squad and tactics during the IPL 2026 auction. Before that, they will announce the list of retained and released players.

Players holding high prices and underperformed players will likely go into the auction. The defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) is is likely to play in the first match of the tournament on March 14.
