Delhi: Fans were surprised to hear the news of the engagement of Team India’s young batsman Rinku Singh and MP Priya Saroj. There was never any discussion about Rinku’s personal life, in such a situation, this news came out as a big surprise for all.

Rinku Singh told his love story

In an interview, Rinku Singh himself told that his and Priya’s first conversation started in 2022. Rinku said, “IPL was going on in Mumbai at the time of Kovid. I saw a photo of Priya on a fan page. She was a post about voting in a village. I felt that this girl is perfect for me, but was hesitating to message. When she dared to like me, I dared to make a message. Then the conversation started.”

Gradually, things increased between the two and now there is an engagement in June 2025. Both were about to get married in November, but due to Rinku’s cricket schedule, the marriage has been carried forward.

Rinku said that after Priya became MP, her time to talk has reduced slightly. “Now she meets people in villages throughout the day and works in Parliament. We are able to talk mostly on the night.”
