MS Dhoni is playing unbelievable knocks in the Indian Premier League IPL 2024. He is coming out to face a few balls but his impact has been devastating for the rival franchises. His overall strike is above 250 in the 17th season and the fans are enjoying Dhoni’s presence on the field.
Dhoni doesn’t play cricket and only returns for practice sessions ahead of the new season of the cash-rich league. He spends hours in the nets to work on his power-hitting. In the recent years, Dhoni often hits big sixes in the net sessions and the strokes are well executed during the course of the game.
Former India player Laxmipathy Balaji, who played for India and CSK under Dhoni’s captaincy, gave him a new title.
Balaji was also associated with the coaching staff of the five-time champions.
“He doesn’t even touch the bat before going into net sessions to prepare for the Indian Premier League. Dhoni isn’t playing in any other cricket tournament but makes sure to get into right groove before the IPL,” Balaji said on Star Sports.
“His net sessions are long and the main emphasis is on power-hitting. Dhoni is looking very powerful since the last few years. He has become the most powerful-hitter in the world and I don’t think any other batter is even near to him,” he added.
