South Africa’s tour of Australia ended on a high note, which included three ODIs and three T20I matches.
Australia performed brilliantly in the T20Is, winning the series 2-1.
However, South Africa bounced back strongly in the ODI series. They started with a win in the first game and continued their form in the second, securing an 84-run victory and sealing the series.

Australia’s captain, Mitchell Marsh, won the toss and elected to bat first.
Australia Innings
Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh opened the innings for the Aussies.
Both started aggressively, charging at every bowler from the beginning. They smashed boundaries with ease and quickly completed their half-centuries.
The duo went on to convert their fifties into centuries, leaving no room for South African bowlers to settle.
Keshav Maharaj finally provided some relief by dismissing Travis, and soon after, Muthusamy removed Mitchell, giving South Africa a glimmer of hope.
But Cameron Green and Alex Carey had other plans. Green went on to smash the second-fastest century for Australia in just 47 balls, while Carey completed a fine half-century.
With their explosive batting, Australia posted a mammoth total of 431/2.
South Africa Innings
Aiden Markram and Ryan Rickelton opened the innings for South Africa.
However, Sean Abbott struck early, dismissing Aiden, while Bartlett removed Ryan soon after.
Wickets kept tumbling at regular intervals, and only Dewald managed to play a decent knock.
In the end, South Africa was bowled out for just 155 runs, suffering a massive 276-run defeat, and this is also the second-largest win by runs for Australia.
Cooper Connolly starred with the ball, taking a five-wicket haul, while Xavier and Sean Abbott picked up two wickets each.
