Roger Binny Resigns as Bcci President, Rajeev Shukla Appointed Interim Chief: Report

New Delhi: In a Major Development, Former India All-Rounder Roger Binny has reportedly Resigned as President of the Bcci. According to a Dainik Jagran Report, Senior Board Official and Current Vice-PRESIDENT Rajeev Shukla has been named Interim President.

Binny, who have served as Bcci President Since October 2022, Turned 70 on July 19. Under the board’s constitution, any office-bearer crossing that age believing that ages in the Role.

At 65, Shukla has been served as the BCCI Vice-Prosident Since 2020 and will take charge of the board’s daily operations until the annual general meeting (AGM), Expected in September. His role is undersrstood to be interim, with the next full-time presiding

At the Bcci Apex Council meeting on Wednsday, Shukla officially assumed charge as acting chief. The key ageda of the meeting was to finalize team India’s new lead sponsor after dream11’s recent exit.
