Indian ODI team captain Rohit Sharma has stunned everyone with his fitness at the age of 38. On Sunday, at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru, Rohit took the Yo-Yo fitness test and successfully passed it.
According to media reports, the “Hitman” scored 19.4 in the Yo-Yo test. He has also lost 15–20 kilos of weight within a monthwhich clearly indicates that Rohit is not planning to retire from ODI cricket anytime soon and his game plan is to play the 2027 World Cup.
Meanwhile, from September 30a three-match unofficial ODI series will be played between India A and Australia A. In this series, Virat Kohli is also expected to return alongside Rohit Sharma. Both of them has played a single ODI match for India since the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
