CM Yogi said in UP T20 league final: “Give two teams to UP with a population of 25 crores”

Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made a statement in the final match of UP T20 League being held in Uttar Pradesh. At the inauguration of the final at the Ekana Stadium, CM Yogi tossed and also appealed to the BCCI that the sports talents of UP should get more chance.

“UP needs two cricket teams”

CM Yogi urged the BCCI to form two cricket teams for Uttar Pradesh with a population of 25 crores. He said that the cricket talents of UP are not behind any state, and there is a need to give a platform to the younger generation here.

Importance of UP T20 League

Yogi also underlined that UP T20 League is proving to be a big platform for the youth, which is not only increasing his interest in cricket but also giving them an opportunity to fulfill their dreams.

Government’s plan to promote sports

CM said that the state government has started constructing stadiums and sports grounds across the state to promote sports. He also said that international stadiums are being built in major cities like Varanasi, Ayodhya and Gorakhpur, which will give players an opportunity to play on the highest standards.
