‘I had become depression …’ Chris Gayle, raging on IPL franchise, made a big disclosure

Chris gayle depression: West Indies veteran batsman Chris Gayle has made a big and shocking disclosure about the Indian Premier League (IPL). Gayle, popularly known as Universe Boss, said that he did not get respect during his last season with Punjab Kings (PBKS) and that is why he took a difficult decision to leave the tournament in the middle.

Gayle clearly stated that he gave a lot for IPL and franchise, but he did not get a reception. This was the reason that for the first time he felt like depression in life. He also told that at that time he had interacted with the team’s head coach Anil Kumble, but had to withdraw the name from the tournament in view of his mental health.

‘Dispospect’ found in Punjab

Chris Gayle was a part of Punjab Kings from 2018 to 2021. The 2021 season was played in two parts due to Corona and resumed in September. During this, Gayle played only two matches and on September 28 on the field against Mumbai Indians. Two days later, he announced to withdraw from the tournament and the reason explained the bubble fat and disrespect.

Chris Gayle’s pain ‘first feels like depression’

Gayle recently talked about his heart in a conversation. He said, “My IPL ended before time because I did not get the reception in Punjab at all. I did so much for the league and franchise, but I was not treated properly. It seemed as if I was being treated like a child. First time I felt like depression in life.”

Talked to Anil Kumble

Gayle also revealed that he had interacted with Anil Kumble, the head coach of Punjab Kings at that time. He said, “Money did not matter at that time, my mental health was more important. The World Cup was also passed and we were in bubble for a long time. My mindspace was ending. After the match against Mumbai I felt that if I continued to play, I would do more harm to myself, so I left the team.”
