Krishna hails from Siskari village of Sisai

Krishna is originally a resident of Siskari village of Sisai Block. Currently his entire family lives in Himachal Pradesh. His father does welding and mother sew. He has a deep affection for cricket from the beginning. Parents also encouraged him continuously despite limited resources. By joining the trial held in Ranchi in December 2024, he impressed the selectors and confirmed his place in the national team as a batsman.

Presently Krishna is studying in a rented house with a friend in Gumla’s Mahuadipa and doing the practice of cricket. He comes to school by bus every day and performs regular practice under the guidance of coach Gyan Sir at Paramveer Chakra winner Albert Ekka Stadium in the evening. All the teachers and classmates, including the headmaster of the school, have expressed happiness over Krishna’s achievement. At the same time, the school management described it as inspiring and said that if there is dedication despite the lack of resources, every floor is possible.
