Vaishali has confirmed her place in 2026 by winning this title for the second consecutive time. She is the first player to win a female Fide Grand Swiss title for the second consecutive time.

Vaishali Candidates became the third Indian to qualify for 2026. Indian Chess Grandmaster Rameshbabu Pragyanand congratulated Vaishali on his achievement.
