Jaipur, 18 September. Hiranmagri police of Udaipur district have achieved great success and arrested a prize accused who has been absconding for the last 10 years in two cases of murder. The arrested accused is Bunty alias Ganesh Lal son Ditiya, resident of Salamgarh (Pratapgarh). A reward of Rs 10,000 was declared on it and it was also a permanent warranty.
SP Yogesh Goyal said that the accused Bunty alias Ganesh Lal (41) is a resident of Dindol Fala in Pratapgarh district. He was arrested in the case of murder of a laborer in Hiranmagri region in 2010, but was absconding since he was released on bail in 2015. Apart from this, in the year 2003, a case of murder of a friend was registered in Pratapgarh police station Salamgarh. After absconding, he broke away from his family and acquaintances, made no identity cards and started hiding in different places.
On the instructions of SP Yogesh Goyal, a special team was formed to arrest the accused. The accused did not have a mobile nor had any information about his current hurry, so the team continuously raided Pratapgarh, Jodhpur and Bhilwara.
Finally, it was reported that the accused is working on transport offices in Bhilwara. The police team described themselves as a businessman and conducted a secret investigation from the laborers and the Hammals and reached Bunty alias Ganesh Lal. To ensure identity, his family members were also called on the spot, after which he was arrested.
In this successful campaign, under the leadership of Hiranmagri Police Officer Bharat Yogi, police station Mandwa SHO Devi Lal, Cyber Cell’s team and other policemen played an important role. Constable Pratap Singh’s contribution was special in the entire action.
