Delhi: The Indian women’s team is playing the last match of the three -match ODI series against Australia at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. In this match, the Indian team has the first Pink Jersey. In fact, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had announced that Team India would wear a pink jersey in the third ODI against Australia. This initiative has been taken in partnership with SBI Life, whose aim is to spread awareness about breast cancer.

Captain Harmanpreet Kaur said in a video message, “We training for uncertainties every day and this jersey reminds us that we should be ready. Let’s make breast self -examination a month’s habit and stand against breast cancer.”
Sneh Rana said, “This pink jersey is not just a color. This is an appeal to adopt a life saving habit. Let’s fight with breast cancer together and give yourself a hug of life.”
In this three-match series between India and Australia, both teams are at 1-1 tail so far. The third match is considered to be the final, as this is the last big match before the World Cup.
Australia captain Alyssa Heli won the toss and decided to bat first. India did not make any changes in its playing XI. Heli said that by fielding India first in summer, we want to see how they play.
