Australia’s title defence at the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 has taken a blow, with all-rounder Grace Harris ruled out due to a calf strain sustained during the weekend clash against India.
Harris, renowned for her power-hitting in the lower order — reflected in her T20I strike rate of 155.52 — also offers a useful option with the ball, having claimed 21 international wickets.
She will be replaced by Heather Graham, who is set to join the squad in India after featuring in Western Australia’s opening two matches of the Women’s National Cricket League.
The fast-bowling all-rounder has taken nine wickets in six international appearances so far.Updated Australia squad:
