Mirjapur, 23 September (Read News). Picture exhibition and grand cultural programs were organized on Tuesday under the ongoing new day Vindhya Festival in Maa Vindhyavasini Dham Vindhyachal. The exhibition was inaugurated by MLA Nagar Ratnakar Mishra, Mandalayukta Balakrishna Tripathi, District Magistrate Pawan Kumar Gangwar and Additional District Magistrate Ajay Kumar Singh by cutting the lace. On this occasion, the festival was launched by garlanding and lighting a lamp on the portrait of Maa Vindhyavasini.

MLA Ratnakar Mishra, while observing the exhibition, highlighted the historical, religious and cultural significance of Vindhyachal. He said that the central and state governments are constantly trying for the development and conservation of the Vindhya region. The purpose of the exhibition is to inform the common people about public welfare schemes and make them aware of rights and benefits.

Cultural programs on the stage of the festival mesmerized the audience. The dance performance by Kathak artist Manish Sharma applauded. International folk songs and kajali singer Usha Gupta made the atmosphere devotional by presenting the song “Lale-Lale Phulwa’s Gajra with Maya Shraddha with Mai Shraddha. Apart from this, Kalpana Gupta, folk singer Rani Singh, Saroj Devi, Kirti and folk singer Kaushal Kumar, Ramapati Pal and Shivam Kumar of the Culture Directorate gave the audience emotional with Devi songs and hymns.

The artists who performed in the program were honored by the MLA, Divisional and the District Magistrate by giving them Angavastra and Souvenirs. The stage was conducted by Sanjay Srivastava. Deputy Collector Sanjeev Yadav, District Information Officer Omprakash Upadhyay and a large number of devotees were present on the occasion.
