Shimla: Family went to mother’s awakening, servant couple absconded by blowing cash and jewelery worth millions

Shimla, 25 September (Read News). A case of absconding by stealing by the Nepali couple has come to light in the Dhali police station area of ​​the capital Shimla. The house in which the servant couple was hired 9 months ago. He targeted the same house and got a chance and blew up more than 3 lakh rupees with cash. It also includes jewelery. The police have registered a case on the basis of the complaint and started searching for the absconding couple.

This complaint was recorded on the statement of Vijay Kumar son late Daya Ram, resident village Noha, Post Office W, Tehsil Junga, District Shimla (age 42 years).

The complainant said that Nepali origin couple Prakash and his wife Nirmala were working in his house for the last nine months. On the night of 23 September, he went to Gowda in his mother’s awakening with his family and returned home at around 1 pm. Everything was normal at that time and the family rested at home.

The next morning, when she knocked on the door of the Nepali couple’s room at around 7:30 am, he was closed from inside. An attempt was made to call Prakash’s mobile but no response was received. This suspected him. After this, when the wardrobe of the house was examined, it was found that after breaking the lock, about 90 thousand rupees in cash, 17 grams of gold chain and his wife’s mangalsutra (whose chain was not of gold) has been stolen.

The total cost of the stolen goods has been estimated at around three lakh fifteen thousand rupees. The police have registered a case and started investigation and the search for the absconding Nepali couple has been intensified.

A police officer told on Thursday that a case under section 305, 3 (5) BNS has been registered in the police station Dhali.
