Central government issued notification of appointment of 24 new judges in Allahabad High Court

– In addition to Chief Justice in the High Court with 160 judges, the number of judges increased to 109

Prayagraj, 26 September (Read News). After the approval of the President, the central government has appointed 24 new judges in the Allahabad High Court. On Friday, the Union Law Ministry issued a notification for the appointment of all these. After the appointment of these new judges, the total number of judges in the High Court of 160 judges has increased to 109. However, three of them are subject to transfer and one is currently beyond judicial work.

The Supreme Court Collegium recommended 26 names for the appointment of judges in the Allahabad High Court. The names of 12 lawyers and 14 judicial officers were included in the 26 names sent by the collegium headed by the Chief Justice of India to the Central Government. The central government has appointed 10 of them as High Court Judge of 10 advocates and 14 judicial officers. Among the judges who become judges, apart from the High Court, there are also advocates in the Supreme Court. Advocates who have been appointed as judges include Vivek Saran, Vivek Kumar Singh, Garima Prasad, Sudhanshu Chauhan, Awadhesh Kumar Chaudhary, Swaroopma Chaturvedi, Siddharth Nandan, Chief Permanent Advocate Kunal Ravi Singh, Indrajit Shukla and Satyaveer Singh.

Similarly, the 14 HJS judicial officers of the district judge level, Dr. Ajay Kumar II, Chavan Prakash, Divesh Chandra Samant, Prashant Mishra I, Tarun Saxena, Registrar General Rajiv Bharti, Padam Narayan Mishra, Lakshmi Kant Shukla, Jai Prakash Tiwari, Devendra Singh I, Sanjeev Kumar, Vani Ranjan Aggarwal, Achal Sachdev and Babita Rani.
