Jeddah, 27 September (Read News). In the top match of the Saudi Pro League, Al Nasr beat Saturday 2–0 to the current champion Al Itihad. Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadiyo Mane scored goals from the team. With this win, Al Nasr finished the top position in the table with 12 points in four matches, while Al Istihad ranks second with nine points.

Despite the luxurious tiffo and deafening slogans of the domestic audience at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, Al Istihad showed pressure from the beginning. With the first whistle of the match, Al Nasr started capturing the game.

In the 9th minute of the match, Kingsley Koman crossed a brilliant cross with the right wing. While running on the ball, Mane gave a 1-0 lead to Al Nasr by putting a great volley on the back post.

In the 14th minute, Ronaldo missed the opportunity to score a goal with a header on Koman’s cross, but he did not miss in the 35th minute. This time Mane gave the cross and Ronaldo converted the pass into a goal with an exact header to 2-0.

Karim Benjema offered the ball to Steven Burgine on a few occasions, but he could not take advantage of the opportunity.

In the second half, Al Nasr slowed down the pace of the game, but continued the attack. Joao Felix got many opportunities to score, but he failed. In the 39th minute, his shot on Mane’s cross went over the bar.

In the 58th minute, Nawaf Boukhal gave Ronaldo passed on a vacant goal, but the Portuguese star ball hit the bar. This was the easiest and big chance of the match.

Despite this, Al Nasr retained a two -goal lead and won. Al Istihad’s invincible order on the home ground for 19 matches also broke with this defeat.
