In the final of the women’s team, Sheetal, along with Sarita, fought in an exciting match against Turkey. The match remained on par and was in the last round to 132–132. Despite Sarita scoring ten consecutive points during the entire game, her last arrow missed out on 7 points, winning the gold medal by winning 152–149.

The Indian pair made a brilliant debut in the first round to lead 38-37, but Ozanur Cur Girdi and Barsa Fatma their Turkish pair soon made a minor lead. While India had to struggle to maintain continuity at the later stages, almost an errorless performance of Turkey ensured that they stayed ahead, giving Sheetal and Sarita a silver medal.

Sheetal also retained his rhythm with Toman Kumar in the mixed team event. Facing a tough competition with Great Britain’s Jodi Grinham and Nathan Mcquin, the Indian pair, showing patience and accuracy, gained an initial lead of 37-34 and won 152–149, winning it and won the bronze medal.

This dual podium finish not only reflects the growing height in the para archery of Sheetal Devi, but also underlines India’s growing potential on the global stage.

Among other results, Rakesh Kumar and Toman Kumar could not convert their strong performance of individual events into success in the doubles competition and lagged behind in the quarter -finals of the men’s compound team event. His campaign ended 150–152 from Canada with a minor defeat.

Meanwhile, India was deprived of medals once again in W1 and recurve category, so that the second consecutive version could not make a place on the podium in these categories. The male recurve team did not compete after Harvinder Singh’s withdrawal, while the women’s team lost to Korea and dropped out in the quarter -finals.
