Kanpur, 27 September (Read News). Subhashini Ali, a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party (Marxist) of India and former MP Subhashini Ali, along with the workers of Kanpur District Committee met Akhil Kumar. In the past, there has been a demand to remove the dispute and increasing misconceptions about the banner in the case of controversy over I Love Mohammad during Baravafat in Rawatpur and Syed Nagar.

Like the previous years, this time too, before Baravafat, banners were installed in these mohallas. However, this time there was protests in some other districts including Kanpur regarding these banners. Due to this, there was a situation of tension in the city and the atmosphere was feared to deteriorate. With this, on Saturday, former MP Subhashini Ali met the police commissioner and demanded that the misunderstandings arising in this case should be removed peacefully. He said that Kanpur is a city of Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb, where the festivals of every religion are always celebrated with peaceful and brotherhood. The image of the city is being hurt due to the confusion being spread by some people.

On this, Police Commissioner Akhil Kumar assured him that the matter would be investigated fairly. Both the police administration and Subhashini Ali have appealed to the residents not to pay attention to rumors and maintain peace and harmony in the city.
