New Delhi, 28 September (Read News). Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is going to complete 100 years of its establishment on Vijayadashami. This time the Prime Minister specially mentioned it in his monthly radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’. He said that the Sangh was established to avoid ideological slavery to the country. The volunteers of the Sangh play their role in dealing with any crisis on the society with the spirit of the nation first.
In the 126th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’, the Prime Minister said that the Sangh’s “This journey of a century is as amazing, unprecedented, is equally motivational.” His Holiness Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar ji established the ‘Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’ in 1925 on the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami. After the departure of Dr. Saheb, Param Pujya Guruji carried forward this Mahayagya of Rashtra Seva.
He said that he used to say that Param Pujya Guruji used to say- “Rashtraya Swaha, Idan Rashtraya Idan Mama i.e. it is not mine, it belongs to the nation.” In this, there is an inspiration to rise above selfishness and keep a sense of dedication for the nation. This sentence of Guruji Golvarkar ji has shown the path of sacrifice and service to millions of volunteers.
He said that the volunteers of the Sangh, who come anywhere in the country, first reach there. This feeling of the nation I is always paramount in every effort of millions of volunteers, in every effort.
